COATING METHODS
Torishima focus is on the application of protective coating systems that provide
excellent corrosion control, best value, whilst we minimise the risk to workers and the
environment.
Our system is a wet & rust tolerant, two pack, high solids MIO - Zinc epoxy which can be
utilised either as a one coat primer/finish with good UV resistance or as a high
performance coating which can be over-coated with colour topcoats.
It is compatible with many aged paint systems, including epoxies, acrylics and other
single pack materials.
With these characteristics, Torishima can coat in almost all weather conditions and give
our coating system a life expectancy of 15-20 years. Our specialized treatments also include Zinc & Manganese Phosphate, Xylan®, and PTFE (Molykote)."
INSPECTION SERVICES
Torishima coating inspectors monitor all coating applications on-site and perform the all
tests necessary to ensure the long-term performance of the coating system.
Our NACE qualified coating inspectors can provide independent third-party inspections,
failure analysis, coatings surveys, consultancy and quality control. All of our
