■BASIC PRINCIPLE
With recognizing that the global environment problems have been critical issues common to all mankind,
Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd., Head Office and Factory, will provide the society with a circulatory
environment system for creation of a more affluent and rich life through an environmental symbiosis
business and aim at making a contribution to build up a durably developing global society by means of
supplying ecological products by manufacturing activities with taking care of the environment and
transferring the peaceful and quiet global environment to the future. We will carry these activities
always with following themes: "Keeping our earth condition better for living to all people and societies"
and "Creating the global environment filled with the beautiful nature and peaceful mind".

■POLICY
In order to realize the above basic principle we will promote following activities :
- We will contribute to energy saving through developing and providing ecological high efficiency pumps.
- We will contribute to reduction of CO2 through providing power generation systems by the use of natural sources of energy, such as wind power and hydraulic power.
- We will contribute to the improvement of recycling of resources through providing the technology aiming at reuse of waste materials.
- According to the result of environmental impact assessment, we will positively promote reduction of the burden to the environment and prevention from pollution and make effort to review our environment protection activities with intent for ongoing improvement.
- In addition to abiding by environment-related laws and regulations, and the other demanded matters which we agree to, we will establish our in-house regulations by which we will also abide.
- We will strive to reduce the burden on the environment through playing an active role in the conservation of natural resources, in energy saving, in recycling, in reducing waste materials as well as in the proper control of the chemicals.
